openSUSE Manpages Server

You're looking at a repository of HTML renderings of man pages and other documentation for Linux. This allows you to read a man page online even for tools that you don't have installed on your current computer.

There are a couple of different ways to use this repository:

  1. Directly jump to manpage:
The search understands the following syntax:
    [product/][binarypackage/]<manpage name>[.section][.language]
The manpage name is mandatory. If <product>, <binarypacakge>, <section> or <language> are not specified, browser and system defaults are used. Valid product names are:
    • Tumbleweed
    • Leap-16.0
    • Leap-15.6
    • MicroOS
  2. In your browser address bar type the URL of this server and enter the manpage name, hit ENTER.
  3. Navigate to the manpage’s address, using this URL schema:
    /<product>/<binarypackage>/<manpage>.<section>.<language>.html
Any part (except <manpage>) can be omitted, and you will be redirected according to our best guess.
  4. Browse the repository index:
